Dennis Conner is the most famous sailor in the world…the equivalent of “Arnold Palmer or Jack Nicklaus” to Golf. The America’s Cup is the longest running sporting trophy in modern times….not faltering since starting in 1870. It is the most well known and most expensive sailing event costing teams over $100,000,000 to field a competitive team. Dennis Conner has won this trophy 4 times. Dennis is no longer competing, but today his famous 80 Ft racing yachts and the legendary 139 Ft yacht “America” are available to the general public in San Diego to provide “once in a lifetime” sailing experiences. The America’s Cup trophy is named after the famous yacht “AMERICA”. Our relationship with the wonderful “Maritime Museum of San Diego” also gives our guests the added ‘bonus’ of free admission to this world class facility any time during their day of sailing.

Divide your party up and race against one another or strategize against other sailing enthusiasts! This is your chance to grind, trim and helm one of these famous America’s Cup Yachts.

Join us for a spectacular 2 ½ hour cruise aboard the Yacht America. Your fee will also allow entrance into the San Diego Maritime Museum. Be sure to allow time to check out the nautical history on display. You’ll enjoy pre-dinner snacks, soft beverages and a wonderful sail on the bay. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Guests can also BYO adult beverages.

Enjoy a 2 1/2 hour cruise on San Diego Bay with the famous "Stars & Stripes!" It is arguably the most widely-recognized name among all American sailing vessels. Team Dennis Conner's original Stars & Stripes went to Australia in 1987 and won back the America's Cup in Fremantle, defeating the Aussies'Kookaburra III. Stars & Stripes / USA 34 rose to notoriety by winning the Citizen Cup in 1995, earning the right to defend the Cup on behalf of the San Diego Yacht Club.

Come and spend 2 1/2 hours on the Abracadabra! Enjoy fantastic views of San Diego from this unique vantage point. Built in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1999, Abracadabra / USA 54 was designed by Australian, Ian Burns. The yacht was raced in the 2000 America's Cup in Auckland New Zealand, by John Kolius' Aloha Racing, operating out of the Waikiki Yacht Club. While not nearly as famous as Stars & Stripes / USA 34, Abracadabra is more technologically advanced and the faster of the two boats.
